Can you transfer my data to my new phone?
Yes: contacts, photos, apps and, depending on the case, WhatsApp history. Moving from Android to iPhone (or the other way) is possible but some data doesn't follow; we explain what will be transferred.
My phone won't turn on anymore - are my photos lost?
If the device can be brought back to life (screen, battery, connector), the data is often intact. If it was backed up to the cloud (Google Photos, iCloud), it shows up on another device with the same account.
